Windows 98 1st Edition. Does not seem to be effecting anything yet, but is real annoying to have to click on everyday before getting into another program. Please help! Thanks in advance, DAN
After startup I get a RUNDLL Error that states: Error loading C:\windows\msbk32.dll Need help fixing issue
According to your desciption, there may have some regsitry errors in you PC to cause "windows error".You need to clean you PC.,.,..
Every time you install and uninstall software on your computer you create junk in the registry. You need to scan and clean your PC with registry cleaner.
There are some comparison and review of registry cleaners.

You can download and scan your PC for free.
Reply:Reload Wins 98, you are missing a critical back up file.
Reply:me and my friend always had trouble with windows 98, some games would end up missing .dll files... so if what that other guy said doesn't work, type msbk32.dll in google, and a site like Dll.com should show up download the .dll file and replace the old one with the new one,
Reply:You should scan for spyware/viruses that dll isn't a valid windows file

Reply:It is probably a virus/spyware, because msbk32.dll is not a valid widows DLL. Click on this link to download Ccleaner http://filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/ install it in your PC, but don't run it yet, then click here to download AVG anti-virus http://filehippo.com/download_avg_antivi... install it on your PC, but don't run it yet. Click on this link to download AVG/Ewido antispyware http://filehippo.com/download_ewido/ install it on your PC, but don't run it yet, you will run them on your PC on a safe mode. Reboot your PC to a safe mode and run AVG anti-virus, after that, run the antispyware, have them delete any file the identified as a spyware/virus, those the cannot delete, follow the file address to delete it manually. Lastly run the Ccleaner and reboot to normal mode. I hope that will solve your problem.
Reply:The little research that I have done on that file, it is showing as a parasite file.
To eliminate the error, you might have to edit the win.ini file, or go into the registry and do a find for that file, and delete where it shows up. Becareful not to delete the wrong thing, or you will have to reload.
