Why does the message c:\windows system32\gmssihyu.dll access denied keep coming up when windows is loading

I have had a trojan vundo virus which i have fixed has this got anything to do with it? Im a novice at computers so please can someone help many thanks

Reply:joanne a looks like some kind off VIRUS I have never heard of this type of DLL. DLL is library therefore it could be VIRUS that is unknown to trojan remover

Reply:there is a probably a shortcut in the startup folder left over from a program you uninstalled and the computer is trying to start the program when you reboot your computer or turn it on.
Reply:Start%26gt;Run


Type in regedit then click OK.


click on "Edit" tab then ckick 'Find"


type in "gmssihyu.dll" without the quotes.


Then click on "Find next.


When the search finds a field with "gmssihyu.dll" in it,


Rightclick the highlited entry and delete it.


then click on the "Edit" tab again and select "Find next.


Do this untill you get a Message stating "Finished searching the registry.


then close Regedit and do a reboot.
