it has also found 2 others 1 inuser32 and ntoskrnl in systems 32 ....but doesn't tell me how to remove them or what they are. It just tells me they have been changed. Or infected
Avg keeps telling me it's found an infection in c:/windows/system32/shell32.dl... help but won't remove it
The answer might be to open the AVG Test Center, click the F3 key on your keyboard and tell it to accept the changes. If it still shows something as changed after this.. delete the file named AVG7QT.DAT in C:\ and AVG will rebuild it the next time it is run. Check out the link below and see if it matches your problem.

Reply:*try guaranteeing the files some file you can not remove
Reply:See if it gives you the option of quaranteeing the files. It may not be able to remove them, but can quarantee them.
Reply:Replace AVG with Avast! Antivirus (also free) from Alwil. After making sure it's up to date, schedule and run a full system boot-time scan. It'll clean off viruses Norton and McAffey won't even detect and can clean things that AVG can't get rid of.
Reply:AVG is free but in my opinion not so good.as Norton which although it costs a bit, does the job.It's one thing to locate bugs and viruses and another to remove or quarantine them.
Reply:Thats not a virus it's a system restore file don't remove it or you won't be able to use system restore
Reply:AVG is crap!

AVG has proven itself to be a mediocre performer at best. Missing almost 20%, while trying to detect known malware, in some tests. Not to mention almost non-existent heuristic detection and infrequent "once-a day" updates.
AVG = Average, at best!
