RUNDLL, Error loading C:\Windows\vttrss.dll?

Yesterday I began encountering pop-ups in IE so I downloaded Spybot S%26amp;D, which found a "trojan" named vttrss.dll so I deleted it.

However, ever since then I've been encountering this RUNDLL error everytime I start up windows, saying the specified module could not be found. I've tried looking around and following some solutions, like restarting in safe mode, turning off system restore, doing a clean-up, running Ad-Aware, Spybot S%26amp;D, SUPERAntiSpyware, and Eusing Free Registry Cleaner but to no avail. I've tried searching around for vttrss.dll but to no avail, so now I'm stumped. Any help?

RUNDLL, Error loading C:\Windows\vttrss.dll?
You can try a couple of things.

1: Click on Start then Run, type in regedit

This will open a registry editor .. " BE CAREFUL IN HERE" Click on "Edit" then "Find: in the box that opens type in vttrss.dll Then click on find next. If it is the registry it will showup. If it does highlight the key a delete it.

2: Click on Start then Run, type in MSconfig

This will open the system configuration utility look in the startup tab under the command header and see if you can see c:\windows\vttrss.dll or something like that. If so you can uncheck it so it will not try and load.
Reply:i believe mcafee antivirus can remove that one so long as its virus definitions are updated.

do you also experience double clicking your HD then that message showed up? if that happens then it's very similar to the virus that i've experienced.
Reply:I do have the same problem. But my dll is different it says Error loading c:\windows\urspqr.dll

The specified module could not be found.

But my trojan was Vundo trojan. I am myself looking out for solution.
Reply:I would try a registry cleaner, or to be safe run a SFC scannow, this can fix any windows errors that may occur in the windows system at least. Just a place to start though.
