Error loading "C:\windows\system32\hxxwdyph.... the file is missing or invalid.?

every time i start up windows i get this error message saying the file is missing or invalid. i'm pretty sure windows doesn't need the file because it was part of a virus that i deleted a while back. any help would be appreciated.

Error loading "C:\windows\system32\hxxwdyph.... the file is missing or invalid.?
Go to the registry and see if you can find that string and delete it or go to msconfig.msc and see if it is on the start up menu
Reply:I would just ignore it. Or what you can do is to restore your computer to a later date, before that error showed up, then everything should be back to normal. Go under your control panel, performance and maintenance , system restore, then restore to your computer to a past date.
Reply:To fix that error, the first place to check should be your computers registry files. For a simplistic definition, these files contain the instructions on how to operate the software and hardware on your computer. These Windows registry keys and files can begin to accumulate overtime and become corrupted and full of errors as software and hardware is added and removed from your computer. If these files get messed up in any way, then you will definitely encounter computer errors.

Alomst all computer errors can be fixed by repairing the registry files. You can check out
