Can anyone help me?

Trojan PSW.Agent.IQQ on pc in-C:\WINDOWS\system32\shell64... %26amp; avg take it off but comes bk. help!!
A computer virus is a small program that infects a computer without the user permission. It attaches itself to other files and quickly multiplies.

It is strongly recommended that you use an antivirus program on your computer and that you keep it updated. This will prevent any infection and clean your computer if it was infected previous to the install.

You are infected with a virus if:

* Your computer is very slow, stops responding, restarts or shuts down by itself from time to time.

* Your hard disk or the removable drives (floppy drive, CD-ROM, USB Flash) are inaccesibles or the files are corrupt.

* Unusual error messages appear.

In case your computer got infected, try the following:

* Get an antivirus program (if you don't have one already) See the Download antivirus page to get a free one.

* Update your antivirus

* Scan all your computer and delete, repair or quarantine the infected files.

If you have problems in eleminationg viruses from your computer, you can also try one of the free tools available in the Other download page.

To keep your computer virus free:

* Have an antivirus program and update it from time to time (some even update automatically)

* Use a firewall. Download one from Download firewall page.

* Only download files from sources you trust.

* Don't open e-mail attachments, unless you know who sent it.

* For more protection you can scan your computer with online scanners provided free by some of the best companies. See the Online scanners page.

* Spyware may sometimes be mistaken as a virus. Read about spyware.
Reply:First off Trojan PSW.Agent is spyware.

Secondly lets take a look at what your running:

AVG Anti Virus - Crap - Remove it.

Window defender - Crap - Remove it.

spybot is removing it but when you turn you computer off then back on system restore is restoring the trojan.

Turn system restore off run spybot turn computer off then back on %26amp; turn system restore back on.

Add this free Anti spyware program:

Reply:I had similar problems with a Trojan Horse that I have had in the past.

First off, Is AVG the Free Edition (A.V.)? or is it an Anti-Spyware or something?

Second, Obviously you and only you know what you were doing when you got it! If it was from a program, un-install it. You can use, "Hi-Jack This"

You can also use HiJack This to try and search for it. If you find its EXACT file name, then you may delete it! But DO NOT delete everything it finds!

Also, your obviously going to need a Hardcore scanner. One that can dig down deep and find and delete anything (sarcasticly). A program called "A-Squared Free" Is perfect for that. It updates basicly every Hour or day, with new definitions. Download it, and use it to scan.

Also- Try manually deleting it, sometimes, it works better by just doing the olde fashion way..

ALSO- Avg, and many programs detect whats called, a "False-Positive". I ran AVG earlier, and it detected a Trojan on my World of Warcraft patch (the new one). I immediatly called up Blizzard Ent. and they told me the same thing, it was a false positive.

Good Luck!

Also try "SUPER Anti-Spyware, I Don't highly reccomend it what-so-ever, because its like an unknown program to many, and it can be bad (not 100% sure). Use it at your own risk, but for me at time it did get the job done!
Reply:most virus are spread through IE. IE is not a safe browser. you should use a more secure browser to protect your PC from virus.

i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can block any any popup and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE browser. as you know, most of virus spread throught internet and webpage.

besides, firefox is much smaller than IE, so it run faster than IE.

download firefox for free, Just have a try:
