I assume "newdot~1" is short for \newdotnet, which is a known ADWARE/SPYWARE application. Go to Yahoo! and search "Spybot Search %26amp; Destroy" so you can remove this application. It apparently is starting up everytime your computer is.

Spyware/adware is dangerous, as it has the ability to track your personal information. Along with that, it slows your computer by wasting RAM and CPU power as well as giving you advertisements.

Remove it immediatly! Add/Remove Programs simply won't do.

Good luck.

...should get rid of NewDotNet for you. NewDotNet writes into your "Layered Service Provider" and may break your internet connection when removed. I suggest you download LSPfix as a precaution in case that happens. This tool will repair the damage. Use it only if you lose your internet connection.

SUPERAntiSpyware should also have no problem removing NewDotNet and has a tool built into it, that you can manually engage, to repair the "Layered Service Provider" in case it is broken during the removal.
